Club visit is one of the distinctive elements of Rotary, which can enrich inter-club communications and learnings. We were invited by President of the Rotary Club of Mid-Level, Ms Rita Fung, to join their regular monthly luncheon. Our PDG CP Eric Chin and Rtn. Kenneth Chan attended the meeting with warm welcome from P Rita and other members.
Rotary Club of Mid-Level has been serving for 31 years and is running in good form with significant members growth. P Rita presented well-organised and diversified activities planning up to July. Then following induction of new member: Dr. LH Kei, who was a former Rotarian, was held by P Rita and witnessed by District Membership Committee Chair PDG CP Eric.
PDG Eric also presented the Paul Harris Fellow +7 pin recognition to Charter member PP Brenda Chan.
Another Charter member Michelle Pau (鮑翠𧃸) also attended the meeting.
The highlights belonged to the sharing of guest speakers, Mr. Stephen Lam and Mr. William Lam. They explained the close relation of Dementia and hearing impaired, and introduced how the invented Dai3mini hearing aid can help them to regain their joy of hearing and act as sound therapy. This inspired us to further extend our existing service scope for those hearing impaired elderly.
Learning by observation and doing!
