Another successful Joint Club Installation was hosted by RC of HONG KONG North Point and RC of Braemar Hill on 10th Aug 2022. Albeit under the condition of T3 with heavy rain most of our VIPS and Guests arrived on time. It was a night of glamorous showcasing of the two clubs’ efforts over the year on their service projects under the leadership of IPP Carlos Tam and IPP Bee Chan. Upon successful completion on their roles as Presidents, it is a time that we all look forward to the continuity of leadership which is the handover ceremony to our new President K.F Johnson Lai and President Hazel Ip.
President K.F. Johnson Lai shared his insights over strategy of upcoming year project and services planned focusing on membership growth, services in education as well as our core projects on rookie stars, hearing aid, mother’s choice as well as homeless youth projects. It was our clubs’ honor to have guest speakers including DG Norman Lee, IPDG Keith Chow, PDG Dr. David Harilela, JP Jeffrey Lam providing such inspiring speeches for our audience.
Special thanks to VIP attendees including PDG Eugene Fong, PDG YC Ho, PDG Wilson Cheng, DGE Andy Li, DGN Nigel Lo, Honorary Club Advisor JP Jeffrey Lam to have attended our ceremony. We held a total of 80 guests full house with sponsorship from PDG CP DR Chin on endless Champagne and Whisky. Our RCHKNP induction had a total of 9 new members (Rose Spencer, Maggie Ching, Winnie Chan, Vicky Wong, Kenneth Chan, Yvonne Leung, Euphoni Wong). Joint Committee OC team did a marvelous job hosting a grand event for the night. Behind the scene applause goes to PDG CP Dr. Chin, PP Colin Chau, IPP Carlos Tam, CP Bee Chan, P. K.F. Johnson Lai, PN Ariel Lai, VP Samantha Pei, PID Michael Yip, PE Lorainne Lai.
Last but not the least, much appreciation goes to all our club members and guests from other clubs, and your kindness in donation to our red box. Our club will ensure this donation goes directly to those in need as we continue our service above self under the new theme of Imagine.
