District Membership Seminar for Rotary D3450 was successfully held on 27 Aug 2022 at Hotel Alexandra.
On behalf of Rotary Club of Hong Kong North Point, PDG CP Eric Chin, PP Peter Pang, PP Elsa Wong, PP Colin Chau, P Johnson Lai, VP Samantha Pei, SCC Ruby Chow, and Rtn. Winnie Leung have attended District Membership Seminar.
During 2022-23, with the motto “Each Club Bring One”, our goal is to inspire others to join Rotary.
As District Membership Committee Chair, PDG CP Eric Chin shared District Membership Update & Grow Rotary Strategy. With his leadership, membership growth was recorded with a turnaround, i.e. 3 digit growth for the past 2 years.
PDG CP Eric Chin has shared the Six Rockets to grow our membership strategy 2022-23:
- Satellite Club
- Corporate Members
- Rotaract Clubs
- Chambers of Commerce and Toastmasters
- Re-admission Rotarians
- Rotary Alumni
The seminar was an engaging and interactive one with a lot of insights about membership through sharing by District Leaders as well as Club Leaders and Members from different Rotary Clubs under District 3450, covering membership retention, growth, wisdom speech, establishing satellite club and corporate membership, best practice, how Rotary can change life, satisfactory survey, etc.
PP Peter Pang shared a useful tool to facilitate each club to check members’ satisfaction level and obtain comments from members for further improvement.
Our Membership Chair, VP Samantha Pei, shared our club’s success and upcoming strategy for membership growth at a panel discussion; Rotary Club of Hong Kong North Point was on top of the list in terms of net growth of membership among clubs under District 3450.
Last but not least, Winnie Leung, a new Rotarian, worked closely with PP Peter Pang and District Membership Committee for IT support and to ensure the event run smoothly.
We look forward to having another great year for membership growth for District 3450 and Rotary Club of Hong Kong North Point.
