A great touching experience and moment to share our club’s service event to visit Sheltered Home residents at Tsim Sha Tsui and MongKok before the Mid Autumn Festival, a total of 150 beneficiaries benefited.
During festive moments, a time of gathering with families and friends, there are some loners and individuals who live in these sheltered homes lacking the love and care. 10 members of our club plus some of their family members participated in this volunteering service. Having younger generation join our services continues and enlightens our #ServiceAboveSelf spirit!
We are honored to co-work with NGO SOCO Ms. SZE, preparing and delivering items including mooncake, gift vouchers, test kits and face masks for our beneficiaries.
P. Johnson and Rtn. Kenneth drove along and made transportation logistics much easier. Led by P.Johnson, coordinated by our PI Director Michael as well as Rtn. Kenneth allows a smooth delivery flow for us to attend as well as deliver the items point to point for our beneficiaries.
The event would not be fruitful without our volunteers for the night including: PP Elsa and her son Marcus and daughter Andra, Chloe (Michael’s Spouse), Ting Ting Lo and her husband Simon, Rtn Maggie Ching, Rtn. Rose Spence, PN Ariel and her son (Nathan).
Our members and volunteers took numerous stairs throughout a hot night of 30 degree celsius. A memorable night with sweat and time in exchange to share our love and care to those in need during the festival moment.
