April joint club meeting of RCBH and RCHKNP was successfully held on 18/4/2024 Thursday. We welcomed our guests and visiting Rotarians to join our club meeting. The two club presidents – President Loraine Lai and President Edmond Yue first declared meeting started and reported their club affairs and upcoming events respectively.

We are also very delighted to have invited Dr Tsui Siu Ming 徐小明博士, prestigious Hong Kong film director as our sharing guest. He shared with us the development of Hong Kong action movies from a historical perspective for us to learn more about the in-depth development and spirit behind the making of action movies. We all enjoyed the fruitful sharing very much. A souvenir was then presented by our club presidents.
A birthday cake cutting ceremony was held after, happy birthday to April birthday stars! District Governor Andy has also delivered a short speech to us regarding joining the joint meeting with us tonight.
Lastly, a big shoutout to all the organising committees behind the joint meeting. It would not be a big success without the team support and efforts! Thank you PDG CP Eric, CP Bee and PP Eliza’s guidance and leadership throughout the entire preparation process. MC from Rtn. Will Ho (RCBH) and Rtn. Samantha Lin (RCHKNP) displayed a good team work to bring the event in a smooth and fun way. Rtn . Jason Yuen worked diligently in IT support for the PowerPoint accuracy and on site operation . Cheers to the friendships between the two clubs and looking forward to more cross club activities in the future!
