Our April fellowship dinner was successfully held on 29th April with our members – Rtn. Dr Eddie Chan and CP Joanne She (Rotary Club of Hong Kong Balance and Joy) as our sharing speakers of the night.
Dr Eddie Chan is one of our Charter Members and he shared with us the development of his company – Leverstyle, throughout the years especially during unstable times from 2019 to covid years hence leading to today’s success. Eddie shared with us the textile industry from a macroeconomics perspective and his positive expectations with the help of AI and advanced technologies. Most importantly, his words of encouragement and perseverance dedicated to us all from his past experiences. It’s a great learning for us all from our member’s real life business and leadership experiences.
On top of Eddie’s sharing, we’re also thrilled to have CP Joanne She, to share with us her expertise in Chinese Medicines. She is currently a professional Chinese Medicine Practitioner. Joanne joined RCHKNP in 2023, she is also a soon-to-be Charter President of a new club – Rotary Club of Hong Kong Balance and Joy. She shared with us some tips on wellness and living habits that we can adopt to improve our health. We all have gained more knowledge on food therapy and nutrition with basic concepts of Chinese medicine. Joanne reminds us the importance of striking a balance between work and everyday life. We are responsible for our own wellbeing and health!
We all enjoyed the fruitful sharing sessions from our speakers and had very active Q&A discussions on the topics with all the delicious dishes! We wrapped up the fellowship with a birthday celebration for one of our chartered members – Rtn. Jennifer Tan! Happy birthday Jennifer, wishing you good health and happiness with RCHKNP and all the best in life!
We look forward to welcoming you all to join the club fellowship and next speakers’ sharing! 🤩
