August joint club meeting of RCHKNP and RCBJ was successfully held on 22/8/2024 Thursday.

Firstly, we warmly welcomed AG Eliza Fan, DAG Bee Chan and our guests to join our meeting. Then, the two club presidents – President Peter Long and Charter President Joanne She declared meeting started and reported their club affairs and upcoming events respectively. AG Eliza was invited to give us a speech after the clubs’ updates.
A birthday cake cutting ceremony was held after, happy birthday to August birthday stars – PP Peter Pang and Rtn. Samantha Lin from RCHKNP! 🎂
We are also very delighted to have invited Ms. Connie Wong, Senior Co-ordinator/Regional Director of Neighbourhood Advice-Action Council (NAAC 鄰舍輔導會) as our sharing guest. She shared with us the mental health project proposed to our club to serve 100 families in 2024 -25. NAAC has been doing numerous projects to the community, also some supportive and developmental projects were set up with different corporates to serve different target groups in the district. We all enjoyed the fruitful sharing very much. A souvenir was then presented by our club presidents. 🎖️
The meeting was successfully organised with the synergies between two clubs. Cheers to the amazing friendships and looking forward to more cross club activities in the future! Great job team! 🤝🏻
P.S. RCHKNP core board members stayed after the dinner meeting to continue with the monthly board meeting, focusing on reporting key updates of different departments and upcoming events and projects. We are proud of the team spirit, dedication and efficiency of our members. Keep up the good work team and see you all in our next successful event! 🥂
