On behalf of the Rotary Club of Hong Kong North Point, under “鄰舍。家。您” Listen Goal 2.0, together with our organizing partner—the Neighbourhood Advice-Action Council (NAAC) Tung Chung Integrated Service Centre—and our co-organising clubs: Rotary Club of Braemar Hill Hong Kong and Rotary Club of Hong Kong Balance and Joy, we sincerely thank Tsz Shan Monastery for its serenity and compassion, where we shared a joyful and peaceful day on 13 Dec with the elderly and their families.
The solemn atmosphere brought peace of mind, and through exchanges we experienced the wisdom of Buddhism more deeply. Smiles under the Buddha’s light were truly touching, while families felt the warmth of care and support. This visit was not only a gathering but also a spiritual cleansing, strengthening family bonds and deepening community connections.
We embraced the teaching: “One is all, all is one,” and witnessed compassion expanding across our community. Special thanks to fellow Rotary Clubs, friends, members, and partner organizations whose support allowed kindness and love to continue flowing.
At the same time, our volunteers gained invaluable experience—learning how to better engage with the elderly, drawing inspiration from Buddhist wisdom, and cultivating empathy and a spirit of service. This growth will empower them to continue contributing meaningfully to society in the future.
