Satellite Club is one of the methods recommended by Rotary International (“RI”) for membership growth and our Club attempted it through sponsoring Rotary Satellite Club of Entrepreneur (“SC”); after 17 months, our board of directors carefully reviewed the effectiveness. As of now, there are only 7 members which is lower than minimum 8 members required by RI’s requirement; as such, with reluctance, we concluded terminating the support to SC with immediate effect; accordingly, we shall inform RI and District on it.
Taking this opportunity, we would like to extend our appreciation to Past Chair Ariel LAI and current Chair Ruby CHOW’s efforts.
Our current 7 Satellite Club members will automatically stay in RCHKNP as our club member and the status as Rotarian remains unchanged .
In addition, pursuant to club’s earlier decision and notification, this serve to inform following future leader post(s), in 2022-23, has already been removed:
President Nominate : Rotarian Ariel Lai (resigned on 25 Nov 2022)
