Dear Fellow Rotarians,
It is with deep gratitude and humility that I assume the role of President of the Rotary Club of Hong Kong North Point (RCHKNP) for the 2025-26 term. Thank you for your trust and support as I take on this meaningful responsibility to lead our club in serving the community.
My Rotary journey began in September 2021, in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, thanks to the encouragement and guidance of Past President Carlos Tam. Over these past few years, under the outstanding leadership of Past Presidents Elsa Wong, Carlos Tam, Peter Pang, Edmond Yue and Immediate Past President Peter Long, our club has successfully launched impactful initiatives such as the “Rookie Stars Street Dance Contest” and “Neighbour with You Listen Goal!” in alignment with Rotary International’s seven areas of focus.
Since our founding, under the guidance of PDG CP Dr. Eric Chin, RCHKNP has brought together business professionals and young executives who embody Rotary’s official mottoes, “Service Above Self” and “One Profits Most Who Serves Best”. We are committed to delivering right service to those in need, while upholding the highest standards of integrity and excellence. Our club also serves as a dynamic platform for leadership development, where we invest in training and mentorship to nurture young leaders who are our invaluable assets for the future.
Membership is the cornerstone of Rotary. Our diverse membership enables us to inspire one another, serve more effectively and create a greater impact in our community. As echoed in the Rotary International President’s theme, “Unite for Good”, we are passionate about working together to promote physical, mental and spiritual well-being for all. We believe a sustainable world is built on love and everyone has a role to play in making this vision a reality.
Finally, compassion, diligence, integrity and perseverance are the guiding principles that I hold dear. With a servant leadership mindset, I am dedicated to serving our club to the best of my ability, and I look forward to sharing a meaningful and successful Rotary year with all members, friends, and guests.
Yours Sincerely,
Kenneth CHAN
