RCHKNP April 2023 Speakers Fellowship Dinner Meeting

We are delighted to invite two guest speakers, Rtn. Samantha Lin and Rtn. Kenneth Chan to share their inspiring journeys and insights with our members and guests during Fellowship Dinner Meeting on 12 April 2023.

Rtn. Samantha Lin, a seasoned wealth management professional, presented us the topic of “Connecting the Dots” by sharing her unforgettable and fruitful volunteering experience before starting her career, such as joining the global volunteer exchange in Poland as summer school teacher, delivering service projects in Mhani Gingi by focusing on local underprivileged women and kids with a series of well-organized events including birth control workshop, computer literacy training and child care services, etc. The participants were all inspired by her wonderful service journey and a vote of thanks was made by Rtn. Anne Loh accordingly.
Rtn. Kenneth Chan, on the other hand, a well-experienced IT Telecom management professional but made a change on his career few years ago to another field in wealth management, presented the topic of “My First Half” by sharing his personal life mission statement and career journey. Facing with a big change of his life since 2016, he has further reviewed his philosophy of life, and identified a better outlook on life and values on different dimensions comprising of career, family, education, spiritual learning, health, social welfare and conservation. A vote of thanks was made by IPP Carlos Tam for Kenneth’s insightful stories and experience.
At the end of their individual presentation, P Peter Pang presented souvenirs to Rtn. Samantha and Rtn. Kenneth as a token of appreciation for their inspiring sharing. P Peter Pang then briefly presented the club report and future events, giving the key updates to the members. The club also welcomed PP George Ng from Rotary Club of Manuel Roxas Blvd. Manila as a visiting Rotarian to join the meeting.
Another highlight was that the club celebrated PP Colin Chau who was awarded by Passion Vista as one of their Hall of Fame 2023. It is a prestigious award which reflects great recognition of personal achievement in the respective professional field. PP Colin also shared his feelings on getting this award.
All participants had an enjoyable evening by joining this dinner meeting. The club is also looking forward to having more participants to attend the coming fellowship events.
