“Barrier Busters” is the annual signature event for community education and fundraising of the Hong Kong Society for Rehabilitation (HKSR). It aims to promote the meaningful cause of building a caring and inclusive community through this very unique event in Hong Kong. This year, Rotary Club of HK North Point formed 3 teams to participate, includes 9 Rotarians and 3 Interactors.
The event mobilises and engages corporates, schools, families and the general public to form teams of four for a city-orienteering programme to experience the daily challenges of people with disabilities in different districts in Hong Kong. The participants can experience for themselves how challenging daily life can be if they cannot see, hear or speak, or if they have limited or no use of their arms or legs.

We are so happy that RCHKNP Team 3 won the 2nd runner up of TST group.
We have coffee and lunch after the activity, and then some of us joined the guided tour to further understand the daily challenges of people.
