Visiting Rotary Club of Braemar Hill

Reported by Rotarian Alex Au
On 17th February 2023, 2 of our club members (Rtn. Alex Au and Rtn. Peter Long) visited Rotary Club of Braemar Hill and were welcomed by CP Bee Chan and her members. RC Braemar Hill was chartered by CP Bee Chan in 2016-17.
It was great to meet Will, one of the mentees from Break the Wave project, during the meeting. As being a final year undergraduate student, Will started to plan for his future career path as to start his entrepreneurship with his partner. Hope his business will success in future .
Mr. Gilbert Lee, the Chief Innovation Officer of the NGO – Education for Good(https://education-for-good.com/ ) was speaker who shared with us his knowledge and experiences to foster business for the social good, and introduced the concept of B Corp.
In addition our Club PPE Committee Chair Peter Long promoted the coming PPE activity of Eco- hiking and see whether any members are interested to join.
It was a good opportunity to know more about different clubs’ culture, and also know new friends from other clubs. Rotary is full of diversity yet we all share one goal to serve the community.
Thank you PDG CP Eric for arranging club visit program for members as it is one of the educational programs of RCHKNP to enrich members’ understanding on Rotary club operation as a leadership training for future club leaders.
