President Peter Pang led a delegation of club members including PDG CP Eric Chin, Rtn. Samantha Quiteria Pei, Samantha Lin, Kenneth Chan and Winnie Leung visited Li Sing Tai Hang School which is an ethic minority primary school . Principal Shirley Yip extended warmest welcome and led us touring around school to learn their operation . There are over 200 students from over 15 nationalities .
We were told the challenges facing by school and teachers during Covid 19 period and pleased to know that students returned normal to school hours . However , students may need some time to adapt to the new normal but we trusted that they will overcome very soon
The visit inspired our club members to plan for the future service projects in DEI and helped students to overcome challenges to adapt new normal .
After the visit, we further visited the newly open Tai Hang Fire Dragon Heritage Center and enjoyed a yummy lunch hosted by principal Yip.
