On December 28, RCHKNP was delighted to participate in the event 「友里樂唱聚」 organized by Amigos in Kwun Tong (友里社) as one of the performing groups. Around 200 underprivileged elderly residents attended the event and enjoyed a variety of singing performances from different groups. Most of them were living alone or in double-aging families and seldom had the chance to go out and celebrate festive occasions.

Aligned with the main theme of the event — 「歌聲中的家」, President Kenneth Chan and PDG CP Eric Chin performed three heartfelt songs, 《獅子山下》, 《爸爸》, and 《東方之珠》, sharing their reflections on the meaning of “home.” Through their performance, they hoped to bring warmth and happiness to the 200 elderly participants from Lok Wah Estate.

Apart from the singing performance, PDG CP Eric also led a brief Tai Chi exercise session, introducing a series of simple movements to encourage the elderly to stay active and maintain a healthy body.
To conclude the event, RCHKNP distributed 200 festive healthy food sets to the participants, each containing a pack of oats, a pack of noodles, and two fresh fruits. The elderly not only brought home these food packs but also carried with them the warmth and festive joy shared by RCHKNP. We look forward to future visits and continuing to express our care and support to them soon.
