After donating 10 sets of quilts & blankets arranged by RTN Yuki LI and RTN Samantha PEI to Neighbourhood Advice-Action Council, we met their social worker who told us owing to COVID-19 the hostel must open all windows to improve air circulation. Their beneficiaries need more blanket to stay warm. Learning this, our PDG CP Eric CHIN contacted Nina Hotel Tsuen Wan West (wholly-owned subsidiary of Chinachem Group) and they immediately offered 100 blankets to homeless people staying at Singleton Hostel. Thanks to logistic work by RTN Kelven LIT, the 100 blankets timely arrived for people in need during extreme cold weather in HKSAR. All these was done today.Single act of kindness brings warmth to people in need. Thank you, Chinachem Group, this is truly corporate social responsibility when people need helps.
