#COVID19 Support Hospital in Italy with 3000 face mask urgently in May 2020 via friendship club -Rotary Club of Sesto Calende Angera Lake Maggiore and Enrico President of International Fellowship of Flying Rotarian (IFFR) Italy. Dear President Elsa Wong,Dear Charter President PDG Eric Chin,

With this letter, the President Elisabetta Cosentino and myself Enrico Maranzana want to thank, on behalf of all the members of our Club, all the members of the R.C. of Hong Kong North Point, for the 3000 masks you have given us.The pandemic has created serious problems, many deaths but above all a huge economic crisis.

Many have lost their jobs and the poor population has increased considerably.

In the future, Rotarian projects should also consider this aspect; It is important to increase medical research to fight the virus but it is equally important to consider what the economic and psychological aspects that families will have to face but above all the young people who will find themselves in difficulty in finding a job. The masks were donated to an RSA hospital where older people are hospitalized. This generation of citizens is the one that has suffered the most from this virus, the deaths at the national level have been mainly elderly people.

The hospital is called “Villa Fiammetta” and is located on the territory of our Club. I enclose with the letter the photos of the delivery of the masks.
