On 5th March 2025, it was a meaningful and remarkable day to our club. The Elderly Support Fund, aiming to provide stable and continuous finance support for our club’s service projects serving needy elderly people in HK, was officially launched.
The fund was initiated by our Charter Members, Dr David Ng & Jennifer Tan, with generous donations of HK$1,000,000. Our PDG CP Eric Chin becamed the first additional donor with HK$50,000. With both DG Cassy Cheng, Dr David Tan and the Hon. Jeffrey Lam as the witnesses on stage, our President Kenneth Chan signed two endowment gift agreements on behalf of our club. And he received the two big cheques from the donors. PDG Wilson Cheng, DGE CP Jimmy Lai, DGN Frank Chan, CDS Alexander Cheung, AG Alvin Lam and CP Leonard Chan also attended the ceremony.
After the ceremony, the CNY party continued with the surprise of P Kenneth acting as the God of Wealth. Everyone shared the festive joy and had a wonderful fellowship night.
