People of Action – Together We Connect

At CCC Kwei Wah Shan College, the school hall turns into a quiet dojo. Under the gentle guidance of PDG CP Dr Eric Chin and his Tai Chi instructors, students put down their phones, steady their breathing, and move in slow, focused steps.

This Rotary project is not merely an after-school activity. Many of these teenagers carry academic pressure, family worries or loneliness that they seldom speak about. Through Tai Chi, they learn to calm their minds, respect their own bodies, and stand tall beside their classmates. Laughter breaks out when someone loses balance, and then they try again together.
Members of the Rotary Club of Hong Kong North Point join the sessions, sharing stories and encouragement. In those moments, generations meet: experienced Rotarians, dedicated teachers and young students, all learning from one another.

Together, we connect youth with care, culture and confidence – one slow, mindful movement at a time.
