RCHKNP’s flagship project 「鄰舍•家•你」Listen Goal! has begun again with Version 2.0. As the second year of the project, over the next six months, our newly trained “neighbour mentors” will walk with 25 families through home visits and small group activities, so that carers no longer feel alone.
The photo shows our Mental Health First Aid workshop – a key part of the project. For twelve hours, twenty-five members and friends sat side by side with mental health professionals, learning how to recognise warning signs, listen without judgement, and give practical help to older people in distress. Many already care for parents or grandparents. As Rotarians, we believe that gentle listening, steady presence, and basic skills can change the way a community speaks about mental health. Together, we mentor – and together, we give hope.
